Hi, if you are getting 3.1 mbps, then it is probably the CDMA dongle and NOT the GSM dongle. In GSM, there are two dongles. One with max speed of 7.2 mbps and other with 21.6 mbps.

I already have a dongle of 7.2 Mbps which provides me download speed as fast as 250+Kb per second.
Please can anyone let me know if I buy the higher one slated at 28Mpbs, will my download speed go up to 1 Mbps or more?
