On August 6th night i bought a Nokia C2-03 mobile.It has a Resistive touch ,Slide Dual Sim(both work parallel).
Over all the look is good ,Form factor is good.In hands its fine.Concerns: Touch is NOT GOOD-Wont RESPOND PROPERLY,Camera is 2MP ,Pics are OK,but video is no worst.IT DOES NOT have a NAVIGATION KEY which will be frustrating for a mobile whose touch is not at all up to mark.The working is fine like calls receiving and deleting messages receiving Bluetooth-data etc.Net is OK
Main drawback when you are on call-1 and want to keep call-1 on hold and speak on call-2 then the touch is like hell.
I bought it for 4800/-Rupees Hyderabad at NOKIA PRIORITY.

It was a bitter experience with Nokia by buying a new C2-03.
Nokia is far behind in Touch technology. For C2-03, they also need to provide a hammer or similar to get it worked.
By hard touch, when you try scrolling, it ends with extreme ends, or gets opened. Nokia applications take more than 4 minutes to open..I could never see it. Call list is displayed latest call last. Heculian task to scroll to re dial latest call.
In short, it is an utter failure.
Then about Nokia customer care, they don’t have any commitments to customers. They force to stop our complaints by their negative response. No refund, no replacement, but harassing.
This story ends by returning my 4 days old Nokia C2-03 to same shope keeper with a loss of Rs.1800/ + calls to Nokia care persons + travelling to service centres (both time, money, effort).
I foresee, Nokia will be vanished from market very soon.

Nice set. I am using it. Cant imagine its so cheap with lots of features. Large screen. Nice 2 watch vedio. And also mp3 quality is not bad…Go for this set. But please buy from Nokia Showroom, bcaz a chinese coppy set of c2-03 is also available in the market. Always buy from company showroom , u will get original product. This is very poor phone from NOKIA.
Abruptly something happens in phone, due to which you wont receive call on your phone while the other person (who is calling you ) will hear the bell ringing to your phone continuously.It won’t come to your phone.you have to take your battery and all the SIMS out from the phone and then start your phone with only master SIM and insert the other SIM only after it
Also the touch is very poor, it will workfor 7-10 days then it will be very hard.You touch something and something else will be touched.
The another problem I felt is of Battery.It takes 4- 5 hrs atleast to get your battery fully recharge.(with the normal 1.5 days backup as with other Nokia phones)But the other phones takes lesser time to charge

Very worst manufactures. Nokia C2-03 model technologically failured model. It does not work in the basic thing like network coverage, speed (Low because of 10 mb internal memory), it does not support basic theme and games. DONT GET THIS MOBILE

I agree with you. Even I am facing all these problems. I have given my cell to nokia care as the touch screen was hanging and wasn’t working properly and that too just within 5 days of purchase. they haven’t replaced my cell and given me back after around 20 days(as per them they send it to factory). the only difference which i can see in my cell is that they have removed the screen guard from it and rest all the problems are same.
I would recommend please DO NOT buy this phone. or should I say any nokia phone as their service is also not good… visit any nokia care center and you will experience it yourself

C2-03 model mobile is only for extermal features.. It does work properly and it having some problems like Signal receiver, batry backup and the slow processes
good but there is video ton feature inead videoton .when i ricved any incom cal ring with video .
brought this Nokia c2 – 03 2 days back.
drawbacks:
1.first things first: no manual is available for this phone
2.touch is rock solid….i.e., have to touch hard and some time the app gets oppend with that kind of touch
3.ear phone are the worst ….its like hanging your shirt to sloppy hanger….similarly you ear phones wont stick to your ears.
4.findng tough to handle without operating manual…
ok part:
1.so far battery power is ok. * charged it daybefore and i still have 1 point left.
2.voice clarity is ok.
3.excelent looks.
4.slide for number pad.(touch is of no use)
*for others if u want to put incomming call under silent there will be a small message under the incomming call saying “press to unlock” do it and you will get silent option!! enjoy.
*havent tested with both sim’s.but the store keeper said that with both sims active and while you speak on sim 1 ,if some one is calling to sim 2 then he gets mgs as “phone cannot be reached” for the sim2 he called this is a stand by Dual-sim mobile.
*as i felt 4600 is a decent price for Nokia Dual sim i brought this.
oh yeah other drawback is the copying data from my PC to mobile. it almost took 10 mts to copy 700mb data

hi, u can use nokia suite/ovi suite so that u can use internet from the mobile phone. But speed of net wil be very lesss.
I am not satisfied at all. It’s touch does not work properly specially while trying to open any application (Sometime you have to press above an icon for 15-20 times). You cannot use both of the networks at a time, if you are talking through one network then other network gets unreachable. Network signal reception is not good even Radio reception (while moving) is also bad. Now a day a new symptom came up that network of one SIM gets not reachable even you are not in a call. Battery backup is also poor. It is using BL-5C battery which earlier being used in low end (where GPRS/Blue Tooth/MP3 was not available) Mobiles of Nokia. Trying to adjust with this device..

What is the best mobile under Rs. 5000 which have good sound music, easy messaging and decent camera quality?
Recently purchased a new C2-03 with great expectations since the same supports 2 SIMs with touch interface but disappointed with hands on.
Only plus point about it is the low price for being touch screen.
There is no Equalizer, no direct A to Z backward scroll in contacts etc.
There is no Mark/Cut/Copy/Paste options (It seems like NOKIA has deliberately removed these useful options – both from ‘messaging’ and from ‘notes’). Its a big loss for hard core messengers like me.
Also, ‘Clear all’ option is missing in messaging section that makes messaging even painful…
Editing the saved messages is really time consuming as you have to delete all contacts one by one to add new contacts.
Camera quality (2 MP) is also very poor…
In the long run, its visible that the phone responds quite slow to multiple commands !!!
Sinc not that experienced with the ‘software updates’, I am not sure whether these issues can be solved by an update.
c2-03will not allow me to move or copy a file with in the mommory card from one folder to other why/how?
just use, press and hold option u will find more options…
touch screen not tht great, low internal memory, does not support nimbuzz, no fun on facebook, not much varities on ovi store, gaming is dead, no navigator, cant hide pages if u r online and want to see a recent recieved sms, have to log out and then see sms and then log in, for every small thing u have to open slide and use keypad…. over all i give 3 out of ten
You know even samsung provides a similar type of mobile called as champ with all the similar features
so why not go for it

I also purchased a new one without going through the reviews. It was my mistake. All the drawbacks raised are CORRECT. So don’t select Nokia C2 03 dual sim.
Very very very poor internal memory…. out of 10MB device memory, almost 6 go to inbuild apps& gallary items…. even music player is not working at all due to lack of memory…

Nokia c2-03 is the worst product i have seen from nokia, these are the problems with c2-03
I have just buy C2-03 and disappointed with some basic options, kindly resolve them in next software update-
1- No option to Type message without opening slide keypad- please add onscreen keypad
2- No option to remove keypad lock during call inprogress and also no option to set keypad lock time.
3- No option to Mark messages to delete or move- please add mark option.
4- No way to decrease brigtness of phone.
5- No option to set different Ring tones for both SIM cards.
there is an option to remove lock during call .. just see the seek bar in side of the phone to lock and unlock at any time ..also there is slide setting in settings ..
the main disadvantage is.. no on screen keypad
the phn is just ok ..in this some important features are hide from users .. we can select an item or for more options just press and hold an item.. or msg . njoy!!!!!!!!!

heyyyyyy…..u all r jst short tempered…touch is absolutely wonderful and ‘m having so much ease after setting the “calibration” option in setting/device/touch settings…and my advice is that do the calibration fast and if possible with the use of stick…after that u will be having fun…try it…

there is so much problem.
1. there is no options to delete for received, missed,dialed call.
2. when i want to moved form received file to memory card’s folder then only one option come “memory card” other wise no memory card opend.
3. some time mp4 not support.
4. there is no navigation key.
So what do you think buy it?

You will not get satisfaction from the music option.
If you want to play a music, at times the phone get hanged or switched off all on a sudden.You have to restart.

According to me, this phone is worth Rs 4600. I purchased it in August 1st week. I really was waiting for this phone to launch. Here is my take on the phone.
1) Its dual sim. If you really require a dual sim, there are very few phones that give you these features. – (Good)
2) It’s a low cost smart phone. For poor people like me who can’t have N8 or Iphones, this is a very good option. -(Good)
3) The touch is not the greatest, but it has really eased out over the first few weeks of purchase. I have got used to the touch.- (Good.)
4) It struggles with MP4 and 3Gp videos. It plays but not as one would expect it to play. – (Bad)
5) The camera is quite ok. Its a 2Mp with a decent zoom. No issues there. -( Good)
6) The silent option is hidden while answering the call. When you want to silence an incoming call, the silence option is available only when you unlock the phone using the unlock button. – (This is painful) I don’t know why they did this. But the silence option is available.
Hi friends, i have a nokia set of x2-00 and i was thinking that, i would sell my current phone and buy c2-03 just because of my nokia x2 dont have dual sim feature. But after reading the comments of many friends about its drawbacks :, i took decision not to buy it. Instead i ignored about selling my x2, x2 is far more better than this. So i suggest you to get x2, coz its so nice designed. Its features are awesome:). Its so so sooo much nice:)..
